ECOTURN

Ecoturn is a 20 minutes soundscape music piece specially commissioned for the first Ecology Festival, 'THINK-ACT' which took place in Chania in 2008. The project is based on environmental sound recordings of nature and urban places. It projects the violent transition between a natural, peaceful soundscape to an urban, aggressive sonic environment.

TRANSPARENT

[2006]

Originally a 60 minutes piece written for acousmatic reproduction and / or headphone listening. It is based on digital manipulation of saxophone, flute and voice of Lyn's Dobson recordings. Transparent is searching for an alternative timbre representation of traditional instruments, but most of all is an endless search for a different music language facilitated by today's music technology.

LOVE BOMB

[2005]

An offspring of Transparent with a wider 'bottom' edge. Love bomb is a set of tracks written at the time of Transparent. However, slightly different in style, I've decided to group them into a different output. Tracks are less abstract, with sub-sonic beats, ethereal vocals and minimal feel.
